well me and my dad have been working on a 76 cj5 for about a month or two and this last guy that had it has the wiring all f'ed up so we think we are going to get a wiring kit for it. does anyone know of a cheep place to find one or would it be better to shell out the 500.00 and get one from painless wiring? i just dont want to get a pos from a seller on ebay or where ever. let me no thanks

we put one in my dad's hot rod and its a great kit. every wire is labeled every 5 inches which is very handy. and for 200 bux, you cant beat it.

That sounds like a good deal. I helped a neighbor rewire his 76 CJ and it took us forever doing it by hand.
