airbox plug

So today i got bored in class and decided to make a plug for my air box sense i took out that tube. I made it out of stainless and doesn't let anything in.

is that little rubber hose on the bottom really need? my 400 doesnt have one, should i get me one? nice cap, and it aint dirty enough yet to need to be washed....

I don't no why you wouldn't have one. It was when i still had the snorkel thing, and thats what it hooked up to.

i just did buy the bike. it is missing a few things, been sittin for a while. prolly just fell off at some point.
