I just mounted my 450r shocks, and would like to know what the adjustment screws on top and bottom are?
I know that one is compression, and the other is rebound, but Which is which?

Also does anyone have a 450r maintaince manual for these? or
what, from your experience, is a good setting to start off at?

I am about 190lb in full gear, will be riding open desert, with whoops approx. 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 foot tall, and some small to medium jumps.

I already have the springs backed all the way off.

that link should help, I am 200lbs and love to jump and trail ride and I have mine set to full soft on the top compresion and the spring tensoner to all the way soft or loose and the bottom rebound to full hard, other wise it bucks a lot. It still kinda sucks on small bumps or woops but I here you need dual or tripple rate springs to help that, there are lots of threads on this try the link I sent it is the best.

Bigdaddy.......I am glad that worked for you

Tri5.......Make sure you also raise the rear 1/2" to start with

That worked great for me and I had already had the rear spring compressed about a 1/2" anyway. Thanks agian
