I know theres a seal there but tell me for the love of god I dont have to split the case to replace it. Any help would be great.

are you talking about the shift shaft seal? if you are just use a pick to pull it out.

no the seal for the shaft that comes out of the case that drives the sprocket.

your in luck it can be changed from the outside.
