i have a HMF slip on and love the way it sounds but its a lil loud for my taste sometimes. has anyone heard a HMF with the quiet core installed? like it or not?

I put one in mine and can't tell a difference. I should have gotten a quieter pipe.

The quiet core sopposedly lowers the decibels from around 102 to 97.

I run with a quiet core installed on my HMF. It is a little quieter but, it does not alter the tone created by the pipe.

I did not like the HMF quiet core in my pipe so I never run it. It takes away the "snappy" sound and "I" think a little low end grunt is lost....just a little. Overall...if you want your pipe to be quieter it will be perfect.
