Seeing if anybody would be willing to trade my boyesen radvalve for a duncan Pyramid setup. Or I am willing to buy Pyramid outright.

long story, I need to make a post on here and get some help on it. However there is nothing wrong with the rad valve, just wantig to go back to the stock intake instead of the one piece.

I ran the Pyramid reed cage and didn't have it very long. The 1dir racing reeds are way better. imo

I've never heard of 1dir reeds. What did you not like about the pryamid?

Pyramid reeds might be OK for mx, but I was looking for something with some more top end flow. http://www.1dirracing.com/index.html Here is the link. These reeds were like night and day different from the pyramid. If you call them ask for Will H. and he will tell you all about them. O by the way were abouts are you located in Indiana?

I am an XC guy, so I am looking for low end power. What reed cage are you running with those 1dir reeds? I live around Terre Haute, just went to Attica Sunday.

The reeds are made for the cage. They have 8 long narrow pedals. I still think you would benefit with a set of these reeds even if you are into XC. I noticed a seat of the pants difference with an already good running machine and went from a 200 main to a 210 and sometimes a 215. I live just east of Attica with a small mx track and a 300 ft. drag strip.
