I have a 2007 trx90 it’s all stock only trail ridden. It seams to shift ok when you first start out but the warmer it gets it doesn’t want to shift down from first to neutral it gets so bad that its almost impossible for me to shift let alone my kids. The transmission seams to pull fine just doesn’t want to shift. Any help or ideas on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Adjust your clutch... if you look at your owners manual it will tell you how to do it but you need to loosen the jam nut and turn the slotted screw counter-clockwise untill you feel the slightest pressure and then turn it back clockwise 1/4 turn, that should fix the problem.

Well I adjusted the clutch and I am still having problems with the shifting. It’s almost like it’s in between gears at times when you’re trying to down shift. When I am going down thru the gears if I shift up like half a click then down it will usually go but neutral is still really hard to get? I called the dealership where I bought it and all they said was to adjust the idle down, but hell it dose the same thing when it’s not running and you push it by hand so no help there.

i think but i could be wrong, loosen the nut, turn the screw clockwise until it stops then turn it counterclockwise untill you feel pressure, then a 1/4 turn clockwise. when you tighten the nut have the screwdriver holding the screw.
