hey, im lokking for a very cheap honda 300ex exaust. i was thinking about a fmf mega max 2 but i want a really nice pipe for a fraction of the cost. can you help?

HMF's are some of the bast out there and they are also some of the cheapest.

I have a used Cobra exhaust for a 300ex. It's a full system with a much larger diameter head pipe, and the silencer looks a lot like a DG silencer. The head pipe is plain steel that was painted white before I got it, and most of the white is gone (it's barely spotted in white last I checked). The silencer is just aluminum. I can get some pictures of it next weekend if you're interested; then you can make an offer.

I wouldn't consider it "really nice", but it adds some power; however, it is rather loud.

i had a cobra it was a piece it was on my old honda 200 and the fmf megamaxs are awful but my hmf has held up extremely well and its dirtwheels pipe of the year

mhsc, can I ask why the cobra was "a piece"? I agree it isn't the greatest (or prettiest), but it held up well the 2 years I owned my 300, and it boasted some gain (though this was mainly top end). Just curious, thanks.

I also like the HMF exhausts. I have a pro circuit, and my brother has an HMF (both on 400ex's) and I like his pipe much better.
