sounds to me like the timing chain or tensioner....haha

did you by chance change any ignition components? flywheel, stator, cdi box. mine did that after a rebuild after in swapped out the stator and put in a big wattage unit. ended up being the stator was the problem on mine. it literally blew the pipe away from the flange and hung up cocked. scared the shiznit out of me on a fresh top end to boot !!!it was shutting down and wouldnt run until it cooled off. keep the info coming.

mine is got a brand new piston in it and everything is torque to spect and now im haviving the problem i have know compresion in the cylender like the guage is reading 45 pounds and i check my brothers bike and it says 152 so my compresion is going some where and when you kick it over it blows gas out of the carb and when it is running it back fires out of the exhaust and i changed everything from electral to carbs and it still does it form the first start to this on and i caint figure out where the compresion is going did a leak check and it is holding pressure i have knopw idea what to do with this thing anymore.

i forgot to add the exhaust get hot with in about 20 seconds after its starts and its never got that hot not like that and the cylender to is the same way and the water pump is pumping water just fine

it sounds to me like ignition timing is retarded, and a reed petal is broken.

check your reeds, backfires can cause reeds to break and then give you problems like you are describing.

reeds are good i look at all that twice just to make sure

The woodruff key in your flywheel could have sheared off and throw the timing off.

what he said.....check to make sure the flywheel is fully seated.

FOUND OUT WHAT IT WAS THE PISTON SKIRTING IT GOT A CLEARENCE ON THE EXHAUST SIDE BY THE PORT AND ITS LOOSONG COMPRESSION THROUGHT THE PIPE CAUSING IT TO BACK FIRE THOUGHT THE CARB
