Why don't you start out jumping on your stock shocks and see how that works out first. Depending on how big you jump you may not need expensive aftermarket shocks.

If you jump regularly, you'll definatley need/want at least Works.

If your riding trails, I'd say the PEP race fronts, and let pep re-valve your rear.
That set-up would work nice in the woods, and will cost around $800-900 total. But then you'll have a very nice set of shocks!

he is just a begginer rider and doesn't know what he wants. I would NOT recommend spending that much money on some PEPs. Get works, they will work fine for you. If you do start racing or jumping big then you can sell them and get some Elkas since you would have to wait forever to get PEP's.

what benefits do u see with front shocks? Do they make that big of a difference? What do they do? I can see you bottom out less but what if u dont bottom out then is it worth it? Do you handle better?

Ugh, I can't take this. There are 2 threads on the front page concerning Elka and I bet if I look there's 2 on every page after that. I'm not telling people they can't post a new topic on something that's already been discussed but this Elka or Pep business is just too much.

O boy. There is a 10 page thread about this on the top page. It also has a poll. There are great arguments in the as to which is better.

I went with Elka Piggy Backs with SSD. They are sweet. And not a 4 month wait.
