if the exhaust is your ONLY mod, I'd say 152-154 for 1-6 disks or 156-158 main for 6-12 disks. Ryan, the 42 poilet just helps w/ starting and such, but not the actualy jetting.

The pilot definitely affects overall jetting. The pilot controls idle and off idle transfer, and affects closed throttle mixture on decel. How hard the bike comes off idle and whether or not you have a stumble when the throttle is snapped open is controlled by the pilot.

Why doesn't anyone ever recommend just richening the mix screw? Do most people not know what this screw does? All the time I see get bigger mains and pilots and no mention of adjusting the needle and mix screw. Save your $6 for the pilot and just turn the screw out a little, it does the EXACT same thing. You only need a bigger pilot when you are out of your adjustment parameters.

All you NEED to change is the main, the low and mid have plenty of adjustment in them. Start out with a 152 main, one clip down on the needle and 1/2 turn more out on the mix screw.
