i have a 416ex with a JE Piston 11:1, valve job, open air box and dg slip on will a lightened flywheel make it run lots faster?:D

My question to you is...where did you get a JE piston that is a 416 and a 11.1 ratio? The only piston that I can see that JE makes in the 11.1 ratio would be for the 426? If you have a 416 then the piston from JE would be a 10.8 ratio.....

Not flaming but I would like to know if I missed the boat somewhere:confused:

A lightened flywheel will make it rev quicker, but it won't really improve you're all around power. A bad side-effect, though, is that you're bike will be more likely to stall if you aren't very good with the clutch. The crank assembly (crank, piston, rod, etc.) relies on the weight of the flywheel to help keep it spinning at low rpms. When you remove some of that weight, there's less inertia, less force keeping things spinning. A little too much clutch, and not enough gas=stall. Some GNCC-ers actually add weight to help keep their bike running in the tight stuff.
