alright guys well some of you know i picked up a 250r for 600 bucks... it needed help... had a blow motor and all... anyway after 2 months of work i think i got it looking decent.... anyway here are some pictures of it......

i have a total of i believe 1300.00 into the quad including the cost....

mod list is....

-LRD pipe + silence
-durablue axle
-boyseen reed cage
-ported cylinder
-bead locks
-maier rear fenders
-K&N
-AC grab bar
-Powder coated frame (silvervien)
-Powder coated a arms, and swing arm (black)
-bumper
-bars
-and some more stuff here and there

the quad has all new bushings, the motor has a full new gasket and bearing kit... new top end.....

well i guess im a little overly excited about it... ha ha been putting around on it today and starting it and letting it rev and stuff to break it in... i am going to put around a little tomorrow again and then im getting on it... i cant wait... let me know what you guys think

looks good nice job cant beat the price. how much did it cost for powdercoating? I have my 250r down to the frame and would like to know

ha ha yeah i just looked at the XC build under me and now i fee like i own junk ha ha.... and actually really cheep... guy prepped and shot my frame, a arms, swing arm, foot pegs all for... 140.... it was actually a place that does industrial powdercaoting but did private on the sides for extra money... the other powder coater watned 250...

I think it looks good, only thing I would have suggested was doing something different plastic wise. A red hood would make the rears look better, just odd being a 1/2 1/2 deal, but thats just my opinion.

wow great price!!!! i would get some used aftermarket front shocks and have the rear rebuilt and then you would have somthing great. the plastic dose lokk a bit odd and i agree with the red hood thing but other then that it looks good. i like the silver vein it's a nice almost stock looking color but i would have went with a black or maybe black crome to match the front plastics

yeah im looking at race fronts.... but i chose that color cuz its the strongest powdercaot.... i didnt know about black chrome when i go this done and wish i did... and the whole balck thing... the upper a arms and swingarm are black

Wow you got a hell of a deal on that thing if you only have $1300 in it after the good parts and rebuilt motor. It looks really nice, I would love to have something like that.
