View Full Version : Sparks Big Core AMA Legal?

I want to race D23 this year, I know its pretty loud so I am not getting my hopes up:( How loud are the Curtis Sparks big core, D23 has a 98 or 99 db limit I think...

its proboly a 99db limit and im gonna say your proboly gonna be around 104ish? for the honda i would look into a dasa, i know they make a 99db kit for the kfx, not sure about the honda but i would imagine they do!

my buddie past a 99 db limit with his quad and he has a Sparks big core with a national motor

repack it the night before the race. and dont ride it until u get the sound check. and if it is still to loud(like mine) i took a white bros spark arrester and made it fit. now it is like 97 i think?

they were Pros at the EDT nationals that passed with the Sparks big cores and they have to be 99db.

there are plenty of ways to beat the sound check, like repacking very very frequently and other things but a bikes riden frequently wont pass imo.

i didnt mean the bike, im saying with that exhaust, if the bikes ridden with that pipe, your going to have to repack it every race to keep it quite enough to possibly race. Sorry for the confusion
