and i think it is jetting. what jet do i need to switch out?
top of any gear it cuts out

main jet. what clip is the needle on???? possible clutch problem

not sure what the jetting is right now. the clutch is good.
what is the best jetting for my setup?

I would try contacting Curtis Sparks or K&N(they will refer you to DynoJet). I was having similar problems and eventually got it right after talking to the people at Dynojet.

whats the plug look like. im not sure about a 440 jetting. but around stock jetting i know. probably time to get in the carb to see what you got.:grr:

plug looks good. looks real good actually. i do need to get in there andsee what jets are in there, just thought i would get a jump on it and see what everyone thought. i did burn a hole in my coil wire but taped it up good and the spark is not coming out through the tape. i really thought thats what it was.

Make sure your air boot didn't slip off the carb. It happens to me quite often:mad: I need to do somthing about it!

thanks for the tip i will look in the morning. i changed the needle down a notch tonight and will try it out tommorow.
