ive never ran it but i hear great revues but if you ride in wet conditions forget about, but ive seen people use the airbox with it.im not a big fan of fabric filters they dont filter really fine dirt particles to well, like the k and n style (its wavy). But if you ride sand or just ride in not very dust condtions you should be fine.i ride were the dust is thinner than talcum powder.

It will actually help your filter stay cleaner since you won't have your crank case breather hose blowing on it and all the dust that collects in the box just falls away. Mike at Little Sahara in Oklahoma showed us the cheap way to do it and basically you take the stock air box and cut it off behind the mounting bolts. It works great, I don't think it is quite as good since you are still using the stock intake which might be a little restrictive. But it is free.

i had the esr airbox eliminater kit on my DRG motor and lost bottomend from it so i just kept the stock snorkle on it with no airbox.

Always use the K&N w/ outerwear.
