what would be a good motor to put in a 250r frame??? i don't want a 2-stroke motor. maybe a 350x motor???

why not try a crf450r motor? 3600 w/wiring harness/ignition. i doubt you would be happy w/350x motor.

well i would like to do that but see i'm poor. so i know a guy with a 350x thats pretty rough but the motor is good. so i was wondering what it would be like to put it in a 250r frame. i don't want it in a 250x or 300ex frame cause i have a 300ex and i want something longer in length.

i think it would kick @$$. 6-speed i mean thats awesome. with the great 250r. you can't beat that. i mean you can in speed but for options i meant. ha.....

just found out the 350x mounts..the conversion is 550$ at rocky ridge racing

550 for motor mounts??!? www.powroll.com sells them for 70! for the 250x frame though....

I have a 350x engine in a 250x frame, if you have any questions i'd be glad to help. I'm selling it if anyone is interested.

350x in 250r was popular before the 400ex came out, i saw one awhile back from nacs it was a 350rx it was really nice, the 350 is also more powerful than 400ex

well see my theory was that... well its not really a theory but that i like the 250r. and as much a i would like to have a 2-stroke its just not the kind of motor i need. i need a 4-stroke. i have always liked the 350x, but don't really want a 3-wheeler due to i'm not that good on them. so i figured combing them would be great. have the good qualities of the 250r with the 6-speed 350x motor. plus it will be lighter than a crf450 cause of the electrical stuff. it might not beat a crf450 but still kick butt.

anybody have pics a 350x in a 250r frame. os should i say 350rx. that sounds cool just thinking about it..
