Well...I won an ebay auction on a quad...what do you think??

03' Suzuki Z400, looks to be in great shape...a few mods. About 2 hours away from me....$2700. I think I did pretty good. The other Z400's in my area were all going for around $3200.

I can't wait to pick it up!!!

looks good, looks like it has low hours on it. Be sure to check the air filter, oil, chain tension, brake pad life left, coolant level, all that good stuff before you take it off his hands to make sure it has been taken care of. From the pics, it looks like you got an alright deal. Congrats man, youre gonna love it.

I got an 04 just like it, and it is the best quad I have ever had. They are so easy to mod. I will post a pic soon!

In addition to "Be sure to check the air filter, oil, chain tension, brake pad life left, coolant level,"...

Check to see how many "Clicks" are left on the cam chain tensioner.

It's one of the few faults on the machine. I read one thread where the designer supposedly made the length of the tensioner 5mm too short.

It's not difficult to check, but if left unchecked and the cam chain gets loose... It can make for a very bad (expensive) day.

The procedure to check should be on this site. If not check on Z400central.com. I'd recommend getting a service manual also.

Enjoy the quad.. Ken
