Just tryin to clear this up for me and other people who read this... Are you talking about a beadlock?

What are you asking then? Which side of the wheel bolts to the hub?

What are you talking about then? The actual rim? If it is the rim, go by the valve stem hole.

ill give a stab at it

if the rims surface is flat, you put the flat side of the lug nut on it. with the tapered side facing out towards your self

i figured that because i noticed that after my dad took them off the flat side was kinda shinier while the round side was jsut like it was as if it had never been resting on the rim..

so pretty much the opposite way the lug nut went on with the stock wheel?

see if i could only see the back rim in this picture lol BTW its my quad..

stock rims or tapered hole rims put the cone inwards aftermarket rims that are flat the opposite way

If it doesn't have one of those bushings lining the hole like on the stock rims, run flat side of the lug against the rim. The bushing prevents the tapered end of the lug from digging into the rim and squishing the rim into the lug threads a bit.

I run stock fronts and Hiper rears; fronts get tapered side in, rears get flat side in.
