Any test results on the Metrakit for the 90cc l/c yet? I heard they were out and I was just wondering if anyone has tested them and recorded any power gains.

Thanks,
Jason

Ok. Thanks. I was told they were out. I hope they come out soon, with the season getting under way it would be nice to have these proven soon.

Thanks again,
Jason

I'd like to see a heads up test of a stock 90 water vs a Metrakit water, same day, same dyno and same bike.

Just built a Malossi 50mm bigbore with a 45mm stroke that will flatout smoke a stock 90 water. Sorry no dyno thought.

the metrakit 90, is not a 90, but a 82cc version of the 70, and requires the smaller 50 cases and 39.2 crank to work, so if your planning on bolting this on your 90 motor it will not work, and will not become available until next month. The malossi set-up does fly!

Will they make it for a 90?

What bore is it to make it an 82cc?

39.2mm stroke and a 50mm bore =77cc
44mm stroke and 50mm bore = 86.4cc

Thanks for the update

actually i think it is a 43 crank with a 50 bore, not the 39.2 crank

Not for 90 cases. It is a 90 kit but you need the 50/70 cases to make it work correctly.

I built a Malossi "big bore" and put it on 90 cases and it works fine. If I remember correctly I think they said you have to bore the 50 cases for the cylinder to fit. I have 50 cases, but the 90 cases were new.

Ozzie said the new cylinder will not have the Metrakit name on it. I dubbed it the Ozziekit cylinder. I've had 3 of them on backorder for over a year now. Still waiting patiently. Want to dyno it against a Malossi.

Dusty, did you use the Malossi crank in your big bore build? I'd also be VERY interested, if you get your Metrakit(ozziekit) done, what the dyno comparison is.

On the case subject...both kits recommend using 50 cases, but I have heard that you can use 90 cases with the Malossi kit. I think that the 90 cases are larger and therefore leave some room/space in the cases but it has seemed to work for those that have done it. Just what I've been told.;)

Why am I always the last one to get the cool stuff?????

Kevin, I did use the Malossi crank. Still have one more to build. Should be able to get dyno time on this one. I've heard some numbers from a chassis dyno, but I want to check just the engine. Seems like too many variables with a cvt on a chassis dyno.
