need help yfz axle problem

my LSR axle splines for the sprocket hub are worn down so bad the hub spins on the axle has any body welded it striaght to the axle cause lonestar wont replace it. the hub isnt messed up its the axle

i though LSR's have a lifetime warranty? i dont think id weld it though.

i called them they said only against bending or breaks and if its bent they well striaghten it and not give me a new one only if it was broke and the splines are normal wear not covered

has anyone had this problem? im just gonna weld it back on and say **** it lol but tomorrow im gonna see if bill ballance can get it fixed since i got the bike from him anyways

well anyone think a good weld would hold this or what?

eeeh... I wouldn't go welding on things like that. There's a reason all manufacturers use press-on hubs, splines, or pins to secure things of this nature together. Welding has a habit of deforming the surrounding metal. Even if the deformation is not visible to the eye, it could be visible to the ER when you lose a tire at the top of 4th and peg a tree. :-/
