Alright guys, i'll explain my situation. Alright, so over the last couple years all of my friends decided to sell there bike, well now there all buying again, which means im forced to buy one.

My previous bikes 3 years ago were an 01 Honda 600 F4i and an 02 GSXR600. I am an experienced rider, and but am looking to stay in the 600 cc class of bike as this bike will only be used for leisure and maybe 1 or 2 track days..

So here's my deal. I want an 06+ 600 cc bike and want to get the best bang for the buck. I am going to be paying in cash, so I'd like to stay under or around $7000.

I'm looking to hear "real life" opinions of what bike i should buy. Also I'm only considering Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki...

Thanks, Jay:chinese:

In my opinion all of the 600cc sport bikes you have said your interested in are great bikes! I am a huge fan of the gsxr series of bikes. There is a reason why you see alot of gsxr's, its because they are great bikes and are super fast! but my buddy just got an 06 r6 and its a beaut of a bike, this is a really tough choice for you man!

Like ATVs, its 80% rider and 20% machine. Pick the bike that comes in a color you like and looks the best to you. All are super quick, powerful, and reliable.

I'm a complete Honda fan,but I'm not going to be close minded when it comes to this. In all reality I was going to be getting a Ducati 749 S, but I can't find one within a 1000 miles, so that ain't going to happen..

Any more opinions would be great. I'm looking for first hand experience! Thanks,Jay

I love this bike. 600cc class, but I think this is the first year for this color scheme. You may be able to find one used though.

personally, i like the suzuki sport bikes. i have rode my buddies 05 gsx-r600 and its pretty fast for a 600. we took it to the drag strip and he ran a 10.9, and also did a 12 second pass on the back wheel, then he got kicked out:rolleyes:

If you plan on doing any track days, I would go with the 06-08 R6..There awesome track bikes right off the showroom floor!!
