I have just finshed my 440. I have installed a stage two hotcam, 11:1 wisco pistion and sleeve, full sparks x6, and edelbrock carb. And i am just not happy with it i want more power (please dont tell me to get a 450r). Dont get me wrong from stock to this it is HUGE. So I was thinking of stroking it with a +4mm crank. Is there a down fall to doing this, will all my freshly installed parts (have ten mins of riding time on them) work with this set up? Or should i just do so port and polish and....? Any info from you guys would be awsome. Thanks

Dude something cant be right my buddy who owns the local bike shop says that my 400 bored to a 416 with a stage 2 450 carb your exhaust intake spacer and your compression will eat a 450. And although I havent seen it yet he is extremely sharp on these things. therefore you need to check your jetting and !!!! wel every thing cause you should be beating 450's.

i got a je 12.5 to 1 pistion that i have never ran that is an 89mm bore. the pistion was designed by curtis sparks that I would trade for your pistion tha would give you some more power.Go with thart and a port and polish just an idea. I gave over 200 for the pistions its self. It just wont work on my big stroke that i have that is why am getting rid of it.

Blue ex ridier you have a stroked 400? My piston is used but i wil definitely think about it, the problem is then i will have to buy new gaskets.

Yea I have a 7mm stoker adn wasnt thinkin and ordered the pistion becuase that was the only place I could find a 12.5 to 1 and got it in and put in and was sticking out of the head because I had the stroker crank in it and I cant go over 11 to 1 they had to make the pistion higher to get the comp up that much. I have also got the pistion skirted so that it will rev faster. It cost me about 30 bucks to get that done. But I have no use for this pistion and can use yours so I that would be the only reason I would want your I have the recipt for mine I think it was right at 210 dollars. Does your pistion got a dome on it. You might just have to get the head gasket and that would be it. This is suppose to be one of the best pistions out there and I ahv alot of faith in sparks racing so it couldnt be nothin but the best really. If you dont have much ride time on your pistion I wouldnt mind trading still I am lossing some here btu I have no use for this pistion so just let me know. The only thing this pistion had done to it was put on the rod and it didnt work so I took it back off it has never been ran.
