Got a Ninja...

got it monday night. its a 2007 Ninja 250. has 53 miles on it, we got it for 2100. i'm looking forward to the 75 miles/gallon. and bikes are a completley new world for me, i don't even know where to start with mods. I don't want to put a lot of money into it because ill be buying a 600 next year, but i at least want to do a little to it. let me know what you think

That will be a fun bike. They are easy to ride and pretty nimble. I am not sure who told you 75 miles per gallon but you will get pretty high mileage. the most I have ever seen on a 250 ninja was somewhere around 53. Best thing we put on a 250 ninja was a set of clip on bars so that we could lower the front end a little and a smaller rear sprocket. Hope you have fun and watch out for people on four wheels.:)

Thats a steal at that price. Have fun on it and be careful. The front shocks aren't so hot and tend to dive a lot under heavy braking.
