whitch tires should i buy?

i am looking to replace my front and back tires on my 400ex and i dont know what to buy. i ma loking at maxxis somehting but i am open to any suggestions. i want something that is good foir trails and mud but also can double as a mx type of tire. and suggestions are welcomed, thanks.

itp has a new rear tire called the mxr4. its a 19 inc tirews so it could be used all around.

my itps have held up fine. but i don't ride in the rocks alot.

The tread is spaced pretty far apart so that the mud cleans out, and it gets great traction at the track.

run the razr's in the rear and razrII's in the front. best combo IMO. the rears are good for xc and god for mx. i ride both conditions and i haven';t had ANY complaints. the front are GREAT for xc but can also work for mx if they have too. they dont bite as good as true mx tires but they do work.

I am on a 20" kenda Knarly. It's all I've had on this quad and they like everything. Others have more experience I'm sure.

No matter what rear tire you get... you want Razr2's up front. If I was looking for a MX and XC rear tire I'd have to get 20" Kenda Klaws.

i had itp mxr4's when my ex was stock and they got torn up from anything i did. then i had itp turf tamers and they didn't wear fast at all but didn't give the tracktion o wanted and then i got maxxis razrs well my friend that is the best tire i have ever used. they wear vary slowly and hook up in anything. they are even good in snow. i just got new front and rear bc i got new itp ss112 wheels and needed 10'' rear tires and just whent with new all the way around and man are the great. i have to say they are better then any other tire that i have used and thats alot. and for the price you can't go wrong. go to www.rockymountainatv.com and look at the reviews for them there is like 200 of them and they are all good.

i think they did a long time ago. i think the ones i had were actualy carlil turf tamers. the carlil were 4 ply and the itp ones were 2 ply. actualy i know itp had turf tamers bc i had them on my 350x atc.
