I have to put some grease in my e-series, as I was making it a shorty. But I dont want to just put the packing my and and it all get sucked up. Or should I just put it in and it will just burn and get shot out? Well, my main question is, what is the mest degreaser? That would be safe to put inside of an exhaust?

Thanks!

Also, feel free to give me any tips or hints! ;)

Thanks again!

are you talking about to clean the inside before you put it back together?

If its in the exhaust, the only way its gonna go is out.

PB Blaster. And if you get it ont your exhaust it will smoke and smell funny until it burns off.

I'd use something like Carb Cleaner or Brakleen, they're pretty strong degreasers and evaporate quickly

That will discolor aluminum. I haven't tried a lot of different ones. Didn't need to. The first one I got, Gunk Heavy Duty Engine Cleaner, works great. It also works great on greasy hands and it washes off with water.

I use simple green for darn near everything, if that doesn't get it then I usually go straight for gasoline. If it's in the exhaust on the inside, I'd just put it together and run it, it will burn out of there.

i use purple power.... i've seen people on here say bad things about purple power and how it discolors stuff and messes other things up but it hasnt hurt anything i've ever used it on a bit. works wonders for me.
