if you don't do any serious track or mx racing i would say a banshee, but if you want to go racing on a track or something i say r, but nothing beats a banshee mod for mod, those things haul *****, i''ve seen many fly right by me and other 400ex's like nothing, and r's aren't compittition if they are both modded equally

i ride in woods mostly and fields and some street and some mx but i want a quad thats like hard to controll with power and that none of my friends can handle lol i want them to be scared of it and not ride. there not that good riders soo. but i want a reliable quad soo what shall i get thanks guys

banshee's accelerate faster than raptors cuz of the crazy powerband, and modding those things you can get em up to 100 hp if you reallly really dish out the cash, but stock shee vs. stock raptor a shee accellerates faster so................get a banshee, if you keep it stock it will not be ubnoctiously laud and it will be very reliable, just make sure you mix your gas at 30% ratio

well ive been thinking if i put like 1000 into an r on mods will it have craazy power.. ,also i want a reliable quad. i dont know if i should wait for a new quad to come out or get the r because i dont want to buy this and have it break alot and then have a new quad come out and be able to beat mine. what shall i do please help peace thanks

Yes the 250r will have crazy power. If you can find a 250r definitly go with it. Even stock they are fast. If you really are doing MX and Trail riding I would definitly take the R over the Banshee. Make sure your able to handle the power yourself and not end up flying into a tree. And don't forget theres always a cannondale. those things rip!:)

also did u ever see like a 125 two stroke dirtbike how they rip up whenever u touch the gas in like any gear u see a huge rip up in the dirt and roost everywhere can an r do that. also i want the top speed to beat a stok banshee in the street and a lil modded banshee and an xr 600 how can i do that thanks peace please reply bye

Wow wow slow down their! maybe you should buy a dragster :huh . Anyways it depends what you have in the 250r and how you have it geared. For trails and mx track Go with more low end power but if you looking for all speed on the road then gear it higher. You can do this by sprocket sizes, gear ratio, tire size ect.
I never seen a 125 against a 250r but I would say a slightly modded 250r will smoke a 125.

You really like speed :) . Maybe you should get off the pill and get on the R :huh

its kinda jard to have a VERY powerful quad and still maintain reliabliity so u kinda have to trade off some reliability for more power

and whats the top speed of a 400ex wit 14 tooth sproket cus i have the ex and i want to know if the speed of the r will feel alot faster thanks peace

Compared to your 400ex you will have alot less reliability. 2-strokes are alot different to maintain. I hope you have alot of money.
