I dont think Ive ever seen so many tired and hot kids as I did this round!
The kids all rode there butts off in some grueling conditions .
Congrats to all the kids :)

The Hetrick Race Team took several podiums as well as the
APEX USA Team and Extrememinis NW as well. Alot of fast kids out there this season -some real fine talent all across the board!
Also, the gates are busting at the seams!
They had like 27 kids in the Sport 8-15 class ! It was tough on alot of the mini quads as well. Word of the wk end was alot of snapped chains and clutch issues.

Galleries should be up the the homepage any time now ,videos and Coverage later this week.

MY family would like to give a special congrats to our Hetrick Team for such a great wk end of racing , I think each rider got at least one podium each,if not 2.

:D

Tina,

Other than the wind it was great weather. So now you know how I will feel in Washington next race when I say I am cold. LOL

It was a tough race. Zachary shredded a belt in one of his races. I changed it, sent him back out for nothing because he didn't get half the laps as the leader. O well he is getting his confidence back.

Brandon scared me, i'm sure you too. Did you see him the lap after he crashed. He almost crashed again in the same spot (almost went over the handlebars) then he went around the next corner and again almost went over the handlebars. Well tell him great saves on those.

See you next race.

Darrell

Im to the point I dont want to watch certain sections of the track anymore when my kids race. I swear,Troy and I are going to have a nervous breakdown or heart attack!:scary:
:p

I did see a few times...we talked about his choice of lines.. not good ones obviously that race :o LOL
I guess its all a learning curve .
That kicker on that jump just about stung every other rider over the bars for the day I think, there was 2 other minis that wadded up in that area as well that race .I got video of a portion of the wreck, also the shifters when they got tangled up.I saw several minis down in the field over the wk end.
We too smoked a belt , he was about 100 feet from the finish line when his belt went. Just glad he got in enough laps to get his points. Thats one thing about WORCS racing is the track conditions can be so brutal at times and just saying that your kids was just able to finish with it still RUNNING is GOOD NEWS!:p LOL

That heat sucked the life out of me as well.. It was nice at 1st ,but not when your standing in it all day in the field. I think my sunburn is going to peel for a month!

:blah:

Gosh I hope we dont race in mud the next round. Thats def. not a good month when it comes to rain.
riding4fun-Zachary looked good out there, looks like hes getting faster !:macho :)

Photo galleries are now up!
Here is a few misc pics from the wk end .
I should have vidoe up tomorrow.
Im moving this out of the DRR section so that all the other riders wont miss the video and pics .:)

This is the kicker that cause some nail biting. It would kick the rear end up on just about anyone who hit it.
