Chain question…

After my last posting I received a lot of good information about lubes for my chain. Thanks guys. My chain sags… Is there way to tighten it? Or is it due for replacement? Whats the expected life of a chain?

I purchased this quad in November; I do not know the history prior to November.

I purchased this quad in November; I do not know the history prior to November. On the rear of the swingarm you'll find 4 pinch bolts that hold the axle carrier in place. You loose those bolts and turn the carrier clockwise as you look at it sprocket side. Be careful not to over tighten your chain as it gets tighter the further down the suspension goes. Once you have it set re-tighten the 4 bolts.

Good to hear from you again. I agree with you on the WD-40 that formula was created so long ago, today’s lubes are so much superior.

I will look at the 4 pinch bolts. What is the life of a chain?
