Head gasket?

This may sound like a really stupid question, but i just bought a ct 310 off ebay and is there supposed to be a gasket for the head?

Depends on if it is grooved for an o-ring. Its either gonna need a head gasket or the o-ring. Is it a stock head or a cool head?

its an aftermarket head. It came with the ct top end. It doesnt have interchangable domes though

If it has a groove cut in it you will need to run an o-ring. If not you will just need a stock head gasket.

Thats an old model cylinder kit if the head domes not replacable.
All the Pro-x cylinders use o rings for a head gasket.
Does the cylinder look like a stock TRX250R cylinder, or does it look different.
