I was thinking about getting some front wheel spacers for my 400, and I just wanted to see how everybody that has likes them. So do they work good, and stuff like that. Thanks

Thanks for your input guys, I am just getting these for know. I am mainly going to do cross country and maybe some motorcross so, I didnt want to be too wide all the time, since I might not fit on some trails.

Thanks for your guys input. I was mainly wanting them, because I ride trails a lot an dwas going to do some cross country, and a little bit a motorcross, so I wanted to be able to fit through trails still.

Are you on a tight budget, or can you save up for a lil while?
Thats the determining factor.
A-arms are 100 times better than spacers

you should just flip the rims around if you want a cheap temporary fix.

If you dont plan on jumping very much just get the spacers. But if you do plan on jumping allot get the +1 housers:devil

Ok. I jump it kind of a lot but not a whole lot. But I never go that high, I dont go for the big ones or qanything like that. I mainly trail ride and that if I would race mx, it would probaly be just malvern. But how much would those a-arms run me?

Where can you get these wheel spacers? How much$$? Are they universal fit? I have a 250ex and would like to get some. Do they make longer a-arms for 250ex's?

i got my wheel spacers from i think motoman, but i think rocky and alot of other people sell them. id get JD a-arms, there only like 4 sumthing, and then put the difference into like better shocks or something..

look on ebay and on here for some used +1 or +2 a-arms. A-arms are definatley more worth the $, once you get spacers you'll be dissapointed and sorry you didnt save for arms

I've been running mine on the MX tracks for about a year and never had any problems with 'em.

I agree they don't look too good but they are much cheaper and do about the same thing. I would def. get A-arms if I could afford them tho.

In your case I'd say go for it.. A-arms and axle wouldn't be worth the money. I didn't notice any difference in the steering with mine..

make sure the ball-joints arent stiff or sloppy, the bushings arent worn out, and the pc is in good shape.
to have to re-place ball-joints, bushings, or pc...it wouldnt be cheap.
I had to buy all new balljoints for my a-arms today ($80), and wasnt cheap at all.
with +2 arms you might wana look into some shocks also. But if you a light rider with only +1 arms, you should be fine not jumping any huge stuff with stock shocks.

Just keep saving and get some a arms. Spacers can work fine but then again they can bend alot of stuff if you land or hit somthing wrong.

A arms are a better idea.
