its only good for smaller quads like 90's or 250ex and maybe a 300ex. Anything bigger than that I wouldnt dare put that kit on.

I would think that changing the angle of the shock like that would effect how it compresses, no?

I saw a 400e xw/ that kit on in the 4 sale section I think, it looks really awsome w/ the shocks at an angle and all, and it does lengthen them. I dont know how they would preform though. Dont spend your money on though however. There is always a set w/o a buy it now, and sell for about 50 bucks. I would be curious to get a review about those.

Ok, there have been many debates on these, and heres my take. I wouldn't use them. Save up for a-arms.

Good:
Extra Width
Strong Carbide Steel

Bad:
Weight

All the strength comes with a price. With that kit, your probably adding about 40lbs on to the front of your quad. Now I know im just a casual rider not a racer, but even thats pushing the weight limits for me.

they are not 40lbs but they are pretty heavy. Either way dont do it to a 400ex.

they are no were near 40 lbs, maybe 10-15 lbs.
my dad has a kit on his 250ex (+6) and it works great with 400ex shocks.
i've jumped with it and put a good beating on them and they have not been fatiqued (sp?) at all.

the major issue that people think this kit causes is bump steer.
which it does not!
they think it will cause bump steer because it moves the a-arms out but does not move the tie-rod out to the same point of the a-arms. they all say this because they have NOT ridin a bike that has this kit on it. once they ride it and give a legite reseason that it has bump steer than i might believe it.

although my dads 250ex has more toe out than it needs, this cannot be fixed because i screwed up the threads on the tie rod extensions when i put it together :p

i've thought about getting the kit for my 400ex but decided not to and just get more $ and find a-arms

I just posted it up because I've never seen it before, not because I wanted to use them. Trust me I spent 5900 on my machine brand new last July, and just bought an '04 Arctic Cat F7 with 600 miles on it for 4500 a few weeks ago. I may be a lot of things, but cheap certainly is not one of them :p
