I am getting ready to replace the front and rear fender on my 2001 trx 400ex. I went to my local dealer and he wanted to make an extra 100 out of the deal so I told him where to go. I was wondering where some of you got your replacement fenders from and how much(approx) did you pay for them.

All advice appreciated in advance, thanks.
Mike.

I don't know if you are talking about aftermarket ones or not, but if you look on ebay, maier usually has blemished sets that are super cheap. I got fronts that were blems and you can hardly notice the scratches.

i got a new front fender for my 04 (old style) from Chaparral for $100
it was the last set they had.

like Blaster said look on ebay for blemish sets, they go for cheap and the blemishes arent very noticeable

Thanks for the replies guys - I should have clarified that I am looking for the stock fenders that come equipped on the ATV.
I like the look of Maier plastics but all my friends have had issues converting their 400ex's over to them , with the plastics not matching up properly.
Thanks and all advice is appreciated in advance

I just fitted a set of brand new Maier plastics from America, they cost $117 DELIVERED to England!!

No issues with them lining up, in fact the fit much nicer than the stock fenders and make it look a lot more modern.

Thanks Mike

Get them from PACIFIC MOTOR SPORTS (http://stores.ebay.com/Pacific-Jet-Sports) on ebay. I live near Oxford so not to far from Watford.

I get all of my stock honda parts from DiscountHonda Parts (http://www.discounthondaparts.com)
The plastics are 117.00 ea. (just front) plus shipping from them. That is the best I have found except for used parts..

if your worried about fitment...the stock replacements will not fit as easily as the ones that came on the bike.

my factory replacements i had to have my dad bend/tweak the plastics into place to get the last bolt hole to line up

What do you mean your dealer wanted to make an extra $100 out of the deal? What was the price he gave you?

I just priced out a set and the front and rears were around $200.

Dealer prices are all the same. Better prices can be had at servicehonda and hondaoftroy but shipping could offset the savings. Usually the cheapest place to find fenders is at the local dealer cause there are no shipping charges on top.

WOW!!! Great link!!!!:eek2: :eek2:
Their front fender is almost $40 cheaper. 37.50 to be exact. That is huge....A front fender "new" delivered for less than $100!!!! I just found a new place to buy my stock parts....
Thanks Copter
