450r swingarm swap

i have a 05 swingarm that I am going to use on my 86. from what I read, everything will swap over to the 450r swingarm including the bearing carrier. I thrashed my 250r bearing carrier and need a new bearing carrier and wonder if I should get one for a 250r or one for a 450r. will the 250r axle and brake caliper bracket work in the 450r carrier?

you may be better off putting a 450r rear axles brake,caliper etc the whole setup.

so far what ive gathered is the 400ex axle works with the 250r. but if you run 400ex you have to run 400ex hubs, and such hubs are not swapable.

Like he said, just do the whole deal, a lot easier in the long run. If you make up some bushings, you can use the 450r linkage. As far as shocks, I tried the stock 250r shock with the 450r linkage and the bike was way to tall, then the 450r shock and 450r linkage and it was too short. Now I have a lonestar dc6 linkage for a 450r and the stock revalved 250r shock and it's about perfect.
