If its NEW, you could contact Axis about some sort of warranty.

And as for being rebuilt, go to C&D racing section of this forum and ask Colby what the parts/labor would run.

Custom axis shafts run about $110-135 depending on adj. and a rebuild is $125. If it just broke the shaft and the spring came off the spring should still be fine.

We charge $60 plus the shaft to fix that rear shock.

How exactly does something like that happen? I thought axis was top notch. I've never heard of anything like that, you should post some pics so we can see where everything broke. How old was the shock? Was the spring the stock axis spring or Eibach or what? Just wondering for personal knowledge. Hope you get it all fixed sounds like Colbys got you hooked up.

A rear shock has sooo much pressure put on it that its amazing they ususally last so long! proper rebuilds and spring rates help make em last longer! but i too would be curious seeing this thing.

alright guys. i'll try to get pics up ASAP. But the shock was knew last season and was valved for a 180 lb pro am rider. I bought the bike off a friend. and fully dressed i prob weigh 250 or so. So i wasn't to suprised when it happened. But yea as soon as i get the money saved up Colby will be recieving a package in the mail. lol
