i was looking into getting a the 400ex plus two arms for my 300ex and was wondering if it woudl b too wide for woods/xc riding

with stock rims ours with denton plus 2's is 46" wide. with an after market rim it would be close to 48

it sort of just depends on your trails.

+2 400ex/250r arms on a 300ex equals out to about +3's.

i run'em and i normally don't have too many troubles but there are always a few trails that are tight.

the +2's should be a nice addition, definatly alot more stable,
i run plus +1's and at my ride height it measures 45 inches wide,

but if you find your self in some tight trails you might want to cut back on the ole' throttle cuse things could get hairy,

99% of all trees dont budge,
those are words to live by :p

I have race +2 on my 300 for 3 or 4 years and i love mine. I dont hardly have any problems. there where a few guy running +3 for a while in the GNCC with 4-1 wheels. Right know my 300 is just a lil narow that a 450. So if your racing there not going to make any thing that a 450 cant go threw. thats the way i look at it.
