Ok, I recently bought a 2002 honda 400ex. I have to say I love the machine. Now I am thinking about mods and exhaust and intake are the first two that I want to do. I want a slip on and I am going to get a K&N and correct jets for whatever pipe I get. I am Thinking about either a White Brothers E-series or R4. I just want some input by some of you guys that have already done this to your 400. I like a throaty sound too.

I got the White Bros E and love it. Great throaty growl. Still playing with Jets to get the right combo tho. Runnin a K&N with sealed airbox (too wet up here to leave her open)

Thanks for the input, I think I may go with the E-series and K&N combo, if you find out what jets work well let me know.

I put a pro circuit t-4 on mine and i love it. Really big diff!!!

TC is the best. It may not be on the Dyno, but I bet it's the best all around Pipe out there.

lots of good pipes! i got the wb e-series because it is so adjustable , and matches the stock location , so i can add a head-pipe later! i am going to put a fmf powerbomb up front. P.S. steve-o , his jetting will not be as close as you may think... elevation and climate diferences , the norm!!!

I have a yoshi and I love it. When I was at Florence, I met up with a few guys with e-series that actually liked the sound of mine better.

I think I am going with the R-4 just to try something different. I talked to a Mechanic at my local dealer and he said its got great power and its louder than the E-series. Don't worry about noise, I ride on private land, you may still hear me though:devil
