03 predator transmission

I have a 03 predator and I just lost 3 gear. I took the motor apart and I found that the gear on the driven shaft that the shifter fork sit in is broken. I heard that there is a update kit for these problem transmissions. could someone give me the p/n for that kit??? also what exactally comes in that kit???

transmission...if you have broken parts, best to replace it all (gears, shift forks, etc)

I ordered the one broken gear, the shift fork don't even have any wear marks on them and they are not bent...

are you saying I need to replace all the other gear also??? there is noting wrong with them...

I did order the shift improvement kit anyways, which seems like a good deal... I priced the stuff out individually and was well over the 220...

I was just pointing out that if you had peices of broken gear loose in your tanny , it would be best to replace all gears, especially since they are 5 years old. Just my $.02

Was it a shift dog? There have been several others.

the Polaris p/n for the shift kit is 2202655

these sell for 220.. and to get all the stuff in the kit and it way over that price.
