400ex shocks

I'm looking at buying some shocks for my 400ex. I'm a 150 lb MX rider riding plus 2 a-arms. The shocks im looking at are set up for a 225 lb stock a-arm trail rider. Would these shocks about even out the weight difference because of the setup and type riding i have? thanks

No you won't be getting anything near the full potential of a shock. Just find some that are set up for you and your style of riding and you will much more happy with them.
