What have people been paying for their 450R's?

That all just depends on where your at and what kind of overhead your dealer has. For example when i bought my 07 in Dec. of 06 i got a quote From the 2 closest dealers. One being a brand new powersports dealer quoted me 6699 and no less. The other being a 30 year old dealer in a 20 year old building(for sure the building is paid for) They quoted me 6199 so thats where i went. Unless your dead set on an 08 i would look for a left over 07 to get a good deal. I would have bought i left over 06 when i bought mine but all the left overs could not be sold until the recall was done and at the time it was gonna be a month before it was done to them for some reason. I didnt wanna wait haha

My son is the one looking to buy. The one quote we got today was 7147. He was in a brand new big beautiful building. I already figured we could do better but we're not getting serious yet.

unless your dead set on getting an 08, i would seriously look at a nice used one. Remember there isnt that much difference since they came out, i picked up a MINT 05 last year for 3900 bux, cant beat that!

i know that there is a still brand new left over 06 at the place I just bought my 450r, and they are asking 5000.00 for it. The web site for the specific quad is:

http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/enthusiasts/pre_owned_detail.asp?PreOwnedVehicleCode=522107&ManufacturerCode=1&VehicleCategoryCode=2&PriceFrom=0&PriceThru=5000&ModelYearFrom=2006&ModelYearThru=2007&DealerState=WI&type=&piconly=n

That's a pretty good deal for a new 06. I just bought an 06 from those guys and they were really good to me and I highly recommend them. The dealership is located in Madison, WI by the way, so not too far from where you are

$6,150 OTD. I bought out of state so no taxes or registration fees. Dealer offers discount on list and no setup or delivery fees. Dealer was in Winchester, VA.

I agree with the above 100% I recently picked up a very clean 04 and gave $2900 for it. I have spent around $1000 on top of that making it my own but that is still very cheap for a very nice quad. Good luck.

When i couldnt't afford it i let go a lot of good deals, when i got some money for it i had the hardest time getting a good deal, at the end i paid too much for my 04, so i was bummed until we started riding! seems that my quad seen little action so by now i forgot what i paid, but it's hard to get the best price!, you will spend on gas somethimes some of the savings!, i got quoted 6.990 on one dealer and the worst one told me all these crazy fees and quoted me over 8.000 for the same 08! so research my friend, also take averybodys advice and get an 07 they will let it go cheaper!! good luck!

Thanks to all for replying. This is all useful info. So were there any other differences between the '07's and the '08's besides the gas tank color? Oh and the bold new graphics.;)

yeah there not much difference just a few small things here and there.

I know for my 05 i bought new in 05 i paid 6500 before taxes and 6850 otd. So most places can take at least 500 off the top without losing anything. and if they say they cant there lying and are full of crap.
