Fast Trekker-Rear 20x10x9 on Douglas Aluminum .190 or
Fast Trekker-Rear 20x10x8 on Douglas Aluminum .190

is a smaller rim better or a larger rim

i would say skip getting the rims and use that money to get some better tires, if you trail ride you will want some 9 inch rims. And the stock rims are better cuz they keep their shine and they have rolled edges, so they dont bend as easily.

stock D.I.D honda wheels are very very strong.I have a 250r,300ex, and Know alot of guys with 400's.I Did bend one stock R front wheel after doing about 7 rolls in a row.I also have mitchell .190's,ITP .190's and Douglas .190's.I would much rather run stock honda wheels.

I just ordered Razrs all around from Rockymountainatv, they seem to have the best prices for tires. I got 20x11x9 rear and 21x7x10 fronts. My friend had razrs on his 400 front and rear and I loved them, I cant wait to get them.

Smaller wheels on the same size tire mean more sidewall flex. It helps straight line traction but gives up a little cornering bite since the sidewall will roll under more on hard turns. Pro's usually change wheels/tires depending on the track they are racing at. Larger wheels will also ride rougher which may or may not be a concern to you. Unless you are a serious racer you might not even notice a difference between 8 and 9" wheels.
Rocky Mountain has good prices. Make sure to factor in shipping costs.

Ya shipping is alot, for 4 tires w/ no rims it was 54 bux to NH.

I thought i heard someone say that you could get the 11 inch turf tamers to fit on stock rear wheels, is that true? Is there any where I can find a front holeshot MX to fit stock fronts

They'll fit if they are for 9inch rims. The stock rims are 9". The holeshot mx fronts should fit if they are for 9inch rims. Im not sure tho, ne1 know for sure?

The general rule of thumb is you can go up to 2" wider than the wheel width on your tires.
Unless you have odd front wheels the common 21x7x10 Holeshot MX front should fit the stock wheels fine.
