so I found my problem, a valve isnt seated right, i hope. I am going to use some lapping compound...my question is should I use a drill, or just put a rubber hose on the valve and spin it by hand? I hope this works, or I migh tjust bring her into the shop...

Don't use a drill. You need to rotate the valve back and forth, Karate Kid style. I would recommend taking it to a machinist and having the valve and seat cut to match. It's pretty cheap.

The lapping compound will match the valve to the seat, you don't need a machinist for that. Use the tube method or go buy the cheap dowel with suction cups, the drill method can do damage quick.
