optimum power make a complete turn key efi system for the yfz for like 2k includes everthing you need, they make the efi system for the dales and are the leading efi company for yamahas

Possibly a stupid question because I know nothing about EFI - but what about maybe modifying a Raptor 700 EFI? Too big?

efi is the biggest waste of money. it just causes problems and is expensive as hell to fix if anything goes wrong. besides a carb if tuned right will be faster than efi.

ya if you like to run your quad lean you can do that with a carb if you want to run it rich ha you got a carb sure you got to take the extra time and change the jets and think a little bit but as far as im concerned its worth it

Some LTR have been changed to a carb and it seems that work really good, so I wouldn't waist the time and money to get the EFI

Just to add my $.02... I recently rode with a friend who has an 06 Raptor 700 SE... I have an 07 YFZ. He just purchased the computer box to re-map his EFI...he got an after market air cleaner and (GYTR I think), and exhaust insert... My bike is completely stock. Not only does my YFZ have a lot more ***** on the trails, it beat the Raptor in a drag race as well....

Not sure the EFI really gives much advantage?
