Question--Pro Armor swingarm skidplate

I ordered a new one,should be here any day now. Do I need to get a chain guide or any other accesories for it?
Kinda confused. my stock skid is trashed and I dont know if there is supposed to be a chain slider on the skid and if so does the ProArm come with.

if you got the 1/4 inch thick aluminum one like i have, there is a thick plastic strip all the way along the bottom of the chain to the rear sprocket. it's more of a slap guard. there is no guide so to speak on it.

i've ran mine for more than a year without any problems. as long as you keep your chain adjusted properly you'll be golden.

OH and i've also beat the crap out of that guard too and she's still holdin up. it's a good guard.

it'll be a good idea to add a little blue loc tite to your skid plate bolts to help keep em' from backin out.
