I am getting my brother's 450 this weekend and i am gonna buy a quad tech hood but i cant find this one on their website so where can i find this?..

this is the hood i am lookin for..

thats not the quad i am getting it just a quad with the hood that i want

it looks like it is just part of the plastics and not a detachable hood.

no i know its a QUAD TECH hood its just i cant find one for sale anywhere

Im looking for that particular hood. How are you so sure its a QT?

Could be a GEN X.

They no longer make that hood. Quadtech used to sell two models, the Lo-Pro ( the one they currently sell) and the Hi-Pro. Unfortunately I just sold my Hi-Pro on Ebay a few weeks ago.

well atleast ya know what its called now. i looked on ebay for ya but didnt find anything. all they have is those other ones someone posted. those are both sick hoods though. good luck man. im sure you can find one SOMEWHERE on ebay eventually or some other forums.

i just found this new GenX hood on thier website.. i like it a lot i think i am going to get this one instead

the high pro was such a nice looking hood, but those genx hoods are super nice too! great quality!

I wish someone still made hoods for 400ex's...

Im looking for a good QT CF hood for my 400ex.

I dont like that GenX because of the shape. As a racer, it has too many curves that will make it a pain for installing front number plates. Not impossible, just more of a pain.

I never really liked the ones that were that tall anyways. Thats why I never installed my Hi-Pro. The one that QT sells now follows the lines of the plastic better.
