I bought a mxr 450 2 months ago and I'm getting it ready for the 08 race season. I was tring to figure out were to put my rear number plate. I seen rath makes a rear bumper with a bottum braket but im not sure i would like how low it is. I made one of those funny looking number plates that look like a rear rutter, But maybe there is another way. Any ideas?

a friend of mine has a ltr and he mounted his number plate on the back of one of the fenders. he just drilled two holes and let it hang from the back.

I ordered one from Rath for mine. After 2 weeks of not receiving it I called and was told it would be another 3 weeks before it would even be shipped out. After looking at some pics I am not sure it would work with my CT exhaust since the CT exhaust hangs lower than the stock exhaust or the Yoshi pipe so I cancelled the order.

This is what I have done in the mean time.

Is that just round tubing you welded to the bumper or the frame?

the irs has a different frame then your 450
what you see on evasiveone's bike is the frame
