Just bought an older blue Banshee. Plastics have the normal wear and tear.

Just wondering if there is a way to get rid of the white area where the plastic has been bent. You know the white that shows up when you bend a blue fender.

Maybe a heat gun? Anybody every try to warm the color back into it or is it a lost cause.

Thanks.

yeah heating it works great. I had sunbleached fenders and i used my plastic welder heat gun and it brought it back to life.
To the right's a shadow where it goes from red to pink to darker, darker's shadow.

Hey I was thinking about getting a blue YFZ, and I had a few questions. First, can you get those stress marks that Yamahas are known for just by riding agressively, or is a flip down a hill required for this to happen? Also, do Maier's factory replica fenders have the same problem? is it just a quirk that plagues all blue plastics? Thanks.

yes it's a blue plastic quirk but yes heat can fix it
