yea everything will fit yours. but he'll probably want more than $1200...if you consider on average a yfz engine is worth about 1k...then you bought the roller for 1200...that makes the quad like $2200 all together...which is not even close to what a yfz with those mods would normally go for. especially cause the arms, swinger, and axle are a few of the most expensive parts you could buy for it...depending on what brand they are and stuff. if they're good parts those three things alone could argueably sell for about 1000 in themselves if he were to part it out.

I see what you're saying, but on the other hand there's something to be said for buying a RUNNING quad. A rolling frame implies a decent amount of work and money will need to be put into it to make it run. In my opinion you cant simple add the cost of a motor and the rolling chassis together and compare it to buying a quad ready to go. That's not taking into account that there is going to be a good deal of labor to get that quad running.

Not having to put lots of time/money into the quad after you buy it is worth something to the buyer. It would be to me at least.

If people couldn't save a few bucks buying a 'project' quad and fixing it up, why would they do it? certainly not for the headache.

Just a different perspective.

yea thats completely true, i was just putting it into numbers for him...the fact that $1200 would be a steal and that in all probability it would be a bit more than that. but no i wasn't trying to simplify the fact that you'd have to buy an engine and plug it in...
