I have ARS-FX a-arms and I love mine. I think they have better geometry then the Houser a-arms. I have ridden quads with the houser setup and I think the ARS-FX are a lot better in the corners and with weight transfer. Just my thought.

i think alot of the weight transfer has to do with shocks, and shocks have to do with cornering. were the shocks set forthe same weight?

Weight transfer has nothing to do with the A-arms. That would be a shock setup issue. All the Houser MGC A-arms have the Slicast feature. If you can get a set for $200 off, it is a great buy. The geometry is not really changed from Honda's setup, since it handles very well from the factory. You can dial it in to what you like with the Slicast setup anyhow.

I have had both and prefer my ARS-FX. However some of that has to do with switching to the 05 spindle setup on my ARS-FX. I ran the 07 spindles with my Houser's. For $200 less you won't go wrong. I would be more worried about the shocks/setup then the a-arms. My ARS-FX shocks are much better then my Elka's were.

do the housers sit higher?

They have a greater front bend, but as far as ride height you can adjust it the same on either as that is done with the shocks.

2 more questions

i like the arx-fx thats was my other choice

do they my fox float evols to fit the ars-fx

and do they ars-fx come in +1 like the housers or should i go with the houser?

Fox floats will not fix the ARS-FX. The Evol chamber won't fit with the lower a-arm.

ARS-FX are +.5. It's really up to you. I like my ARS-FX arms and shocks a lot so far.

Everything was set up the same. I spent 4 full days tuning with both and the ARS-FX was just better. Maybe it was just easier to get the setup right with the ARS-FX.

That might be right, but I'm not 100% on the shock length. You can call ARS-FX, ask for Nate and he'll know.

If you can get a better deal ($) on the housers, why not go with them? I would. Both of those companies are great, and both have high quality arms. I love the slicast feature from Houser. You can make either arm work great with the correct shock attached to it. Just make sure if you're spending the money to get the shocks that match the arms.
