In my opinion there are a lot better options out there for the money. I personally prefer to buy american made products if possible. I have seen quite a few of them blowout and leak earlier then other brands of shocks. On the plus side they do look nice and have great customer service.

are they worth it for 50% off retail price, who makes a shock 100% made in america

The newer shocks from Ishock are not the same as there older stuff they are made somewhere else. I have ridden on the first stuff and thought it worked pretty good. I can't speak for the new shocks but they do look to be of good quality and they do have good customer service.
